Fox pulled the plug on Drive after four episodes.
I watched the first two episodes, which were aired back-to-back in a kind of series kickoff extravaganza! They were pretty terrible. One subplot involved a mysterious woman being followed by an even more mysterious henchman. The henchman had a magical head, though: whenever he got punched in the face or bashed with a shovel, he was instantly knocked out. This happened about ten times, and it almost seemed tongue-in-cheek by the tenth time. But only almost tongue-in-cheek. In practice it was just plain dumb.
I feel bad for Melanie Lynskey, but if Heavenly Creatures is the first thing on your resume, you have nowhere to go but down.
