Along with numerous bug fixes this new version allows a much larger Lisp heap than in all previous versions of the Personal Edition.
LispWorks Ltd director Dave Fox said:
"We often receive requests for a free Edition of LispWorks that can run larger programs, so here it is. LispWorks Personal Edition can now grow by more than twice as much as previous versions and so is suitable for a wide range of academic research and other non-commercial uses."
I've never run into the limit myself (I used the Personal Edition to work on salza for a while), but this is still pretty nice.
