Yesterday I was injected with dye and scanned and x-rayed. It turns
out I don't have anything urgent to worry about. The extracted cancer
was seminoma, the most common form of testicular cancer, and it is
extremely susceptible to radiation treatment. I will have radiation
therapy to zap any lingering cells and then a few years of regular
followup visits. "It's a scary thing to hear you have cancer," the
urologist said, "but everything's going to be fine for you." Good
