Clozure CL in the Mac App Store

From Matt Emerson on the Clozure CL mailing list:

Several people have wondered whether CCL or CCL-developed applications
would meet Apple's requirements for being distributed via the Mac App

There's only one way to test that...you have to submit an app to the
store. So I did. It was accepted.

slime setup

How can I use it with emacs/slime? what is the executable that I should call? Better keep using the macports version?

Re: slime setup (what executable)?

/Applications/Clozure\ CL.app/Contents/MacOS/dx86cl64

should get you executing

Cool indeed!

May I suggest bundling qucklisp?
Hey Zach,

I am not familiar with the Mac ecosystem or Clozure CL, so have a doubt? Can one develop applications using CCL for iPhones and / or iPads?

I don't think it can be done right now without jailbreaking.
Current CCL is 1.9, CLL at Mac App Store is 1.8.1. There are problem with new realese on macos?
