roflbot now has a super special LJ icon mode. It has a special image selector that will display all your userpics:

There's also a special save page that'll load the completed image back into LiveJournal in addition to the other save options.

Try it out:

Hi, I'm very impressed by this service! The only important feature it still misses is adding a tiny picture (e.g. a country flag or a ribbon) to the LJ icon that many LJ users like to do nowadays. This would make your site more popular.

I'm a Lisp programmer, so I wonder does your site use CL-HTTLP as a Web server? Since such a nice site is written in Common Lisp, it makes yet another argument for using Lisp in Web development.

I don't think I've seen any little flags or ribbons on userpics, but I don't get out much...

I use TBNL for all web work. The text is generated with cl-vectors. Images and text are composited with ImageMagick.

If you like roflbot, check out the other stuff at http://wigflip.com/ - they're all Lisp-powered.

It's very popular in russian-speaking segment of LJ. For example:

That's a very nice-looking web browser in the screenshot. Which one is it?
